DMCA & Copyright Policy

Last updated: Mon Jul 20 2026

xTools respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Service at https://sastools.lovable.app to do the same. This policy explains how to notify us of allegedly infringing content and how we respond to such notices, consistent with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) and equivalent laws in other jurisdictions.

1. Overview

The Service is a collection of browser-based utilities and does not host user-uploaded content in the traditional sense. However, if you believe that any material displayed on or made available through the Service (such as documentation text, screenshots, icons, sample data or embedded resources) infringes a copyright you own or control, you may submit a written notice of infringement as described below.

2. How to submit a takedown notice

Send your notice by email to dmca@xtools.dev. To be effective under the DMCA, your notice must include all of the following: (a) A physical or electronic signature of a person authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner. (b) A clear identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple works are involved, a representative list. (c) The exact URL(s) on xTools where the allegedly infringing material appears, and enough detail for us to locate it. (d) Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number and a valid email address. (e) A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law. (f) A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf. Incomplete notices may delay or prevent the removal of the material.

3. Our response

Once we receive a valid takedown notice we will review it promptly. If the notice is complete and the claim appears to have merit, we will disable access to the identified material. We may forward the notice, including your contact details, to any party alleged to have supplied the material.

4. Counter-notice

If you believe that material we removed was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to dmca@xtools.dev. A valid counter-notice must contain: (a) Your physical or electronic signature. (b) Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal. (c) A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification. (d) Your full legal name, address and telephone number. (e) A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the United States, of any judicial district in which xTools may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notice. If we receive a valid counter-notice we may reinstate the removed material after ten business days unless the original claimant informs us that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the alleged infringement.

5. Repeat infringers

It is our policy, in appropriate circumstances, to disable access to and terminate the access of users who are repeat infringers of copyright.

6. Misrepresentations

Any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake or misidentification, may be subject to liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). Please consider your notice or counter-notice carefully before submitting it.

7. Not legal advice

This policy is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. If you are unsure whether particular material infringes a copyright or whether your notice meets the legal requirements, consult a qualified attorney.
